Gotta love the curve of that frame

No point in asking you for updated pictures of the Ti Tourer then :D

It is a curvy little thing. Globe (division of Specialized) makes a nice bike, I must say. Certainly not a racer by any means, but it has a respectable parts spec, good geometry for getting along comfortably, and is quick enough to get your heart pounding. I was keeping pace with some of the roadies on the trail tonight. Not the real hardcore tarmac burners mind you, but the average roadie anyway.

Not bad for a grocery getter bike. I bought it to attach my daughter's "Trail-a-bike" to, but I admit to becoming quite smitten with it.

I love bikes. And the new tire smell of the bike shop was intoxicating.

As for the Ti tourer... no worries.. I'll post pics when she is done. I'll put them in the ti thread over in Gadgets. I figure it is quite a bit of Ti after all.  :D

Aye, Zed...

I always figured that if BMX had been my thing instead of watching Le Tour, and I was getting older (which I am), I'd be looking at getting one of these:

http://surlybikes.com/frames/instigator_frame/

And I'd be taking their advice and making myself a 26" BMX and going out to raise hell.

Perhaps you should consider this.

Or... speaking of Surly... I might build up a Pugsley instead and see what kind of sick terrain I could ride it on:

Just a thought.

looks good glorn  :tu:  my first love is bmx but at 40 this year i just cant take the injuries risks anymore, i raced road bikes in the 90's and MTB's so i love watching the tour and have since around 88, 89 was one of my favorites to watch,

i had a look at one of those surly pugsley's , i like the look of them but the tyres would be hard work unless possibly on sand,

I'll not get it, as like you say it's too small :-\

I have looked into the 24'' cruiser, but they don't seem to do them for adults really :-\

That Pugsley looks like a fun machine, but I'd have to keep a stockpile of tires if i owned one.

I've got a donor frame to make one :) But I've kinda decided against getting one, as it's just far too hilly down my way to really use one effectively :-\

If I lived in London or somewhere flat I probably would though :)
