It seem's to me that the worlds favourite form of transport is hijacking more and more thread's :D

So how about bringing the bike's and bike picture's here instead :)

Ok these are some of my dream bike's, in no particular order :) (I'll find some vintage stuff when I a bit more awake)

Hase Pino

A brilliant idea for a tandem, so you can actually talk to the stoker :)

HPV Street Machine,

I love these thing's, and would one day like to take one on a tour :)

Thorn Discovery,

I'd love to get one for me and my boy (but with a Rohloff Hub)

Brompton P6

Still the most compact folder out there :)

Moulton

Need I say more :)

Dahon Speed TR

I really, really want one ::)

Thorn eXp

My all time favourite

So let's see your's :)

As someone who rides a bike several times a week, and has done for a decade, I still know squat about brands and am just happy when the tyres are pumped up & at least one set of brakes work.

Wow, there are some great examples of "garage engineering" in those pics! :D

Here's another one. It's amazing what these racers will do to save weight. :)

that one in pic above is a bit strange for one wheeler, cause it has those odd spokes,so long...usually they buil those so that driver sits as low as possible and keep the weight down down down.and the lighter the rim and wheel is,the better.since they the weight on top isnt much.and the centrifuge powers are minor too then,so it stops too ;)

Oooh, I hadn't thought about stopping! Can you imagine locking up the brakes on it while going down a hill? :o :D

I had a friend who worked at the bike shop.

Just a couple questions for all the bikers....When and if you crash do you first tend to your bike than your protruding collarbone?
When your wife sneaks up on you while you are online does she catch you in the act......of looking at sexy carbon fiber and titanium bikes?

BTW  Tour de France is on.....Stage one was today

16:22 -  Today's top ten: 1. Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d'Epargne ) 4hrs 36mins 07secs 2. Philippe Gilbert (Francaise des Jeux) #plus;1 3. Jerome Pineau (Bouygues Telecom ) 4. Kim Kirchen (Columbia ) 5. Riccardo Ricco (Saunier Duval ) 6. Cadel Evans (Silence - Lotto ) 7. Fraenk Schleck (Team CSC ) 8. Filippo Pozzato (Liquigas ) 9. Oscar Freire (Rabobank ) 10. Oscar Pereiro (Caisse d'Epargne).

Yep always checked the bike, kicked it straight, then noticed the broken ribs :D

As for the Tour, well after the last couple of years worth of disasters with drugs and the like, I tend to give it a miss :( now :(

For me it was a bit of both. When I wrecked I leapt up immediately rather than lie there in a pained daze(didn't want some well meaning onlooker coming up and trying to start CPR);then looked at the bike to check for damage;(bent wheels).
