Are all the spokes true? If one's slightly out it'll put a lot more load on it's neighbours
I checked them and they all seemed to be tight. Perhaps I need to just go and buy a new rim. If not, I think I am going to get a new bike sometime soon anyway. I'm looking at the Madone series but there is a part of me that wants to throw my hat in the singlespeed ring.

As I am new to MT.O still, I'm discovering new areas and stopped to check out this thread. I'd like to get in on the discussion as well. I have an Orbea Aqua 2011 that I got in March, Since then I've put over 800 miles on it. I have been cycling on and off during my career and got into it more since retiring. I started a thread on Cycling EDC in the Gadget Freak/EDC Forum last week. Any of you guys/ gals that cycle have ideas and haven't been there to post and would like to please feel free. I'm always looking into new ways to improve what I carry and do while cycling. (Image removed from quote.)

Here's my Sillgey green Mini-Velo polo bike. I have a purple one, too, with Samurai warrior masks all over it.(Image removed from quote.)
