I've always wondered how those "flexy" Ibis' ride.  It seems to me that it would be a great singletrack bike.

Those aren't my bikes i posted.....just some lushious bike pr0n.

I did get to ride that 7000 dollar Ibis Bow Ti at a bike shop in Dallas (Richardson Bike mart). It was squishy!

ok,i just was goint to ask have u driven a fixed gears already.

im making this one,from vintage favorit/fort road race frame.

some polishing on old chromes,black/bronze paint,all irrelevant to recycle(only two sprockets will be left,all the breaks and levers removed,fenders thrown away etc),put in some old track rims and off we go.'

I've ridden fixed wheel bike's, and there bloody weird at first, and bloody scary going down a steep hill

Damn good at climbing hills though

heres abunch of bike messengers,u should see their legs as they drive with set ups like 53/14 teeth F/r.

and yes they go hills up at huge speeds too.

yep i envy that culture u got there,heres about 50 bike messengers who get paid for it,and about 20 of them drive thry year,and 10 of them...about...drives only fixie´s.

but now in my hometown one shop has even taken few single speen mtb´s,road bikes and few fixies to sell.


ive driven quite a lot fixed gears but at first it was really hard and i was always scratched up and had lots of bruises after  tryin to brake on hills;)

Yeah it does take quite a lot to master fixie's, I'd love to be able to ride a pure fixed wheel, as they weigh next to nothing, and look stunning, but I need gears coz of my duff foot
