OPMT question
on: September 01, 2014, 11:19:04 PM
Other than the pocketwrench 2 is there any other tools that have an 11/16 opening? I know that it is an odd size for a pocket tool but in my line of work the nut sizes I come across the most often are 9/16 and 11/16. the 9/16 I can find but the 11/16 is a bit harder to find.  Kinda hoping to avoid Atwood tools, definitely don't have the funds to get anything by him.

Sticking to OPMTs, I'm not aware of any others.  I don't believe any of LM's offering go that large.

Yah I didn't think that they made anything that big. I know that something thats 11/16 will be a bit of a rarity but I'm hoping someone makes one.

So...what's wrong with a PWII, considering it is the only OPMT we've been able to come up with thus far that can handle 11/16" nuts?

I was hoping for something that was open ended, that's all. The pw2 is still in the running I just wanted to know if there's anything else out there.

That is the tidbit of information I was fishing for; it seemed as though there was some desired feature that was missing from the PWII.

Perhaps an open-ended PWII mod is in order?     Not sure if anyone has tried it yet, but I would think it would be fairly straightforward.

The thought has crossed my mind, now I need to find dimensions on this thing and see if it can handle having the end chopped off.

No problem. I'm sure we had another thread with more pics but I can't find it yet.
