These feel much more solid now compared to the original plastic handles plus wider so more comfy in my big hands, the leather lanyard hangs out my pocket for easy draw from my pocket plus loops around my little finger to make the blade safer  :tu:

Though there are little voids in the sand micarta,  Um gives it an antique look

Svords... I see them more as fixed blade knives with a folding sheath than a folding knife if that makes sense. Not sure how PC Plod would see it.

Less than 3"and non locking, if you don't take it to a city center pub you get to walk away with it. If the PC is over zealous and ill informed they aren't too expensive to loose.

I've not bought one as I see the protruding tang as a groin injury waiting to happen :ahhh

I guess that would depend on where you carry your knives, I tend to keep them away from my "junk"

I gots both  :D :D :D

I liked the standard but thought it was a bit big(fussy bugger aren't I  :ahhh) so I thought I would try the Mini.
I just need to make a slightly larger handle for the mini me thinks.

I tend to agree with Tom on this . surely the 'Blade' length, including the tang part, is more than 3" ? wouldn't that go against it ?

Think law states just the cutting edge length, cant see why they would measure the tang plus it folds unlike a fixed blade ,

I thought the rule was 'blade length' ?
laws are sooo confusing  :ahhh
if the handle was moved to the 'non-pointy' end and re-drilled would that still be legal (albeit stupid) the law doesn't mention where the 'blade' needs to pivot

*I may not have explained that in a way everyone understands
