Just a thought re the clip placement.
If you are right handed then you may want the clip on the other side like with the Wingman.
I would do it the same way and then grind a little off the locking tab.

Interesting how the Wingman is tip down and right sided.
And how the skinny Charge is like an upgraded Wingman.

As for the Wave clip, sorry mate but I dislike it with gusto  :pok:     :D

Why is that?

It's by design. Easy to install, too loose and wiggly for my taste to carry afterwards.

Don't get me wrong, clip is OK but it suffers from standard "end user self-installable" designation.
When something is made to be installed by the user easily, it usually leaves a lot to be desired in other areas.

What do you normally carry and how?

Sheaths and pouches. Tried the clip-carry long time ago and the only one that worked for me was the Sideclip.

The Wave-style add-on clips are a design afterthought by LM.
Will work for many but for some like me not so much.
EDC and OCD. A wicked mix.

I did the Rebar pocket clip mod today.  First I used the wave clip I think it would work well if you use sleeve the same width as the lanyard loop and the same OD as the wave pocket clip. I went with the Kick pocket clip. Fun easy mod to do. Can I join the Reclip club?

not sure what you mean here...

I'm right-handed, and I dislike the clip placement on the Wingman. I'd much prefer to have it on the other side of the tool, like the location of the clip on the Sideclip and Skeletool, or the default location of the pocket clip on the Wave/Charge.

tip up vs. tip down has never been a big deal to me... the tools I carry most frequently are my Skeletool CX and modded Charges. The Skele carries tip down, and the Charge carries tip up, but I can get to the main blade just as quickly/easily on either tool. ;)

Monrogue actually said the same thing about the skinny Charge -- he said it was like a Super Wingman. :)

Yeah I made that one.
I tried pressing it in a vice, when that didn't work I hit it with a hammer on the vice.
Does the job.
There are a few threads around here where others have done the same with sockets and keys etc.
I should really make a full set with all the sizes, would be well worth doing.

Fasten screw and test open the tools.

Does this interfere at all with the opening/closing of the tool located next to the clip?

with the hole for the screw of the clip being a lot bigger than the screw to keep it in, does it ever get off center or does the little "tooth" (not sure what else to call it) prevent that from happening?

No movement or problems yet. YMMV. You could always use the pivot from a Kick.

I don't have a grinder like yours, but I do have a 7-year-old who could hold it steady. ;)

So far a bench grinder and a chainsaw chain file worked a treat for him. I have a dremel (Fuller version actually) but I hardly ever use it and seem to find a workaround with other tools at hand, not sure why.  :P

I realize this is an old thread, but is there a way to do this without making a notch in the Rebar's handle and still having the clip sturdy? I have a Kick pocket clip and I want to put it on the Rebar, but I don't want to cut the handle in case I need future warranty work.
