Ok, here's the thing- it's been suggested that we need different smileys, so in the interest of not getting the place too cluttered I've decided to add 8 smileys to the set since they were suggested during our 8th Anniversary Smiley Contest but in order to do that we need to make some room.  Don't worry, these guys won't disappear, they'll just be switched to hidden smileys so you'll have to know the code if you want to use them.

So, vote for your ten LEAST favorite smileys and we'll shunt them out of the way to make room for the new ones, and we'll be posting a poll shortly to choose them as well.  This poll will be open for seven days and you'll be able to pick up to TEN smileys that don't interest you, you don't use or you don't like.

I'd sugest taking the most common ones out. Everyone knows how to make a :) or a :D. We can also have a locked thread with them and the corresponding code.

I just voted for the ones I haven't ever used  :facepalm:
I miss them on 'other' sites if you're adding any I love to see more 'love' (maybe a love *heart*) or kisses so we can be a friendlier place (if that's possible ?)

The admin of a forum I used to be a member of banned smileys once.  The users went nuts and it all went a bit pear shaped, culminating in him giving all users moderator status and the place self-destructed.  I'm not a fan of smileys (except for  :tu:  ;)) but don't let that happen here.
