What did you use your knife for today?

This is a thread for the fixed or folding knives that we carry to supplement our MT or SAK daily and their usage.

I havent seen a thread dedicated to the usage of our EDC fixed blades or folders.  I'd love to see what you are all using your knives for.

Simple duties for my CRKT today.  Amazon box was a Maxpedition Mini for my roomate.

Did not get any pics, but used my Openil no 8 to cut open a box that held a radiator for GMC Jimmy. Also used it to cut up my pork chops that I cooked on the barbie. Also cut some rope, twine, a towel for grease rags and cleaned the grease out from my finger nails.

I used my black Leatherman crater to cut some rope.

Used my OD Leek to open up a new coffee maker.

Several clam packs from the Home Depot . A clam pack for an antihistamine .

I carried my Tenacious and cut up some inner tubing for ranger bands and opened several more boxed I have in storage.

Used my NO.8 Opinel to cut some strapes and some thread on my A.L.I.C.E pack so I could add some new snaps.

Then used my Mora and tomahawk to baton and spilt some wood and make shavings for a fire.

Also seen in this pic is a wild Ohio Hill Lion. Use extreme caution when petting these felines.

A few feet of rope, boxes, and some cotton fabric all by my refreshed SS Endura.  Then later that night I cut up some coupons.  Wow the PE part of the blade is scalpel sharp.

Todays cutting chores are rubber hose so far and again no problem for this knife.

Today i opened pack of air filters for my facemask. Had to use filtering almost whole day at work. Then i removed bunch of old inspection stickers to replace them for new ones.

It says not to cut the plastic bottles... Doesn't say anything about the tape or the box .



Or taken literally, plastic bottles can't cut anything with a knife (probably due to lack of hands).

Other than opening a few packages I used my SS Endura for FOOD.  Those resealable packages always tear weird.
