Famous members ?

I must be famous.  Just about everyone at my house recognizes me.

I know everyone in my house, you don't know everyone in yours?

Maybe you live with a lot of famous people. 

It is a small house. 

Our house isn't big, but it is on 35 acres.

Famous people use forums to stay away from being seen. They go to great lengths to remain unseen, eg. pay any payments using their PAs PP accounts so you won't know who they are.

Well, then i assume Adam is not as paranoid as others. 

His supersecret nickname there is asavage, and i have seen him only treated as any other user, noone made a hype on him - as he´s just a prop fanatic as everyone else. Loving to work on them, and superexited to get any more rare pieces, asking for help and sharing infos. "One of us, one of us" - a real great guy.

I don´t think it would be any different here with this civilized bunch of fanatics.

TBH,if there is anyone famous here,I don't see there is a need to know. In fact,we should respect their privilege of anonymity here. At work,we frequently see major celebs,and so long as they don't make a fuss,they get to be normal people.

I agree.  I've helped my share of well-known people at work over the years, not something to make a fuss about, which they tend to appreciate.  I did ask one former professional athlete if I could get a picture with him, since he was my childhood idol.    He said sure.

I have had a few "famous" clients as well.  I don't treat anyone any different than anyone else.  I did get a little starry eyed when I discovered a couple clients were war heros and recipients of Silver and Bronze Stars.

Interesting thread

I've often pondered who the real collectors are here, we all know Chako & J-sews have massive collections. But I always get the feeling that there maybe 1 or 2 dark horses here. With enormous  budgets and fantastic collections kept in purpose built secure rooms.

If I ever became rich - I would love to showcase all I own. Buying is the easy bit but displaying gobbles floor space!!
For those who can display their entire collections  - I'm insanely envious.

Cool subject, I've always wondered if anyone was someone famous, I've never met anyone, I have messaged and got a reply from someone off of a tv show but that's about it. JR
