OK, here is a video that I think every outdoorsman should watch, I learned a lot of things that I'd been doing wrong for years. :tu:

Stick with it folks, it really is worth a giggle. ;)

Love the part where he suggests he could get his mate to throw the wood at him

Here's one of his that you might (or might not) like Al:

I've only watched a couple of his videos but he strikes me as being reasonably objective and knowledgeable.

Good vid mate, thanks for that  :tu:

I agree completely with his comments about it. It's not great for lighter cutting tasks, and kind of ends up being more tiring as you are trying to make the knife work less than it wants too. For the lighter stuff I'd certainly be grabbing a different blade - probably a shorter blade too for that more controlled work. In fact my MOD knife may be a good choice for "dirty" work like that. Interesting he thought the Bushman might be a good tool for it too (wasn't familiar with the other knives he was referencing). Overall I like the tool, but for anything less than log bothering, particularly such as trimming back the lightweight branches that are off the ground, I'd probably grab something like the Anton De Plessis Warthog (remember that one?) which has a lot more control to it, and is far less tiring too - even if it does work a little slower on some jobs.
