Ran into an old buddy tonight. He's got a new job, for a company we all know.
He had something interesting to show me :



He told me this was a preview of a new product, coming in 2015.
Haven't been active here much lately, but I couldn't pass up snapping some pics for you guys...

When I saw the Subject I thought, at last, a "Rebar" with scissors on the way.

Well I was thinking of maybe two, one for me, and another for my collection. Then I realized my wrist are huge, and whenever I buy a watch with a steel band, I tend to have to add 3 or 4 links. Leather bands I can never find for my size. Some rubber wrist bands are just long enough. My current EDC, a Casio Pathfinder, just fits. With time and a bit of stretching, I can now manage the second last hole...which is good as the end of the strap can now be tucked under the strap keeper...just. 

So thinking to myself...can one buy extra links...and might they come in Robertson like the one photo shows?

No reach on the drivers, you need acres of clearance round them and if you put and torque on them you'll be wrenching the links round.
Plus the strap and the actual watch bit both look silly.
And it's got lots of sticky-outy-bits to get caught on things.
