I like it. Not as sharp out of the box as the Light My Fire...but a lot more heavier duty.  :D

I can envision Crocodile Dundee saying "You call that thing a fire steel...now this is a fire steel."  :rofl:

I have a sharpened a sak blade on. It did ok. I like my stones better, but it works out in the field.

If anyone is interested GoinGear got them for U$21,95. I'm sure the knife is worth every penny but I find U$39,99 a little steep.

I also own the firesteel 2.0 and it works great.
The plastic on the handles is much better than you would expect.
You have to hold it to experience it.

Would I recommend this product to a friend: definitely 100%
