Fallkniven F1 cordura sheath
on: October 10, 2014, 10:20:35 AM
Hello folks
I open this thread hoping someone here can help me or give me advice. I have recently bought a Fallkniven F1 and i find it is an excellent knife for almost every purpose. Unfortunatley i don't like the sheath it came with, nor i do like the kydex ones that can be found on ebay and such. I have seen some very nice custom leather sheaths that have several spaces beside the knife itself, to carry firesteel and maybe a multi along with, but apart from being expensive i would prefer not to use a leather sheath. I really would like a cordura sheath, possibly molle compatible and with an extra space to carry a multi or maybe a sak with it.  I did find something but the seller itself told me he would not recommend it for the F1 for it cannot be safely secured in it due to the lack of a guard in the handle. Do you know of anyone making cordura custom sheaths or anyway cordura sheaths that would fit the F1, molle compatible and with extra pouch for a multiplier or a sak?
Thanks to all in advance  :salute:

I don't know the exact dimension of a F1, but I do own the Spec-ops brand sheath which is made pretty sturdy and quite well designed.  They come with pouch at the front and two different lengths.  The drop-leg design is comfortable to wear than most sheath riding up high on belt, and the plastic insert in the sheath is also a nice touch.

Heinnie Haynes in the UK have two leather F1 sheath designs from Fallkniven. I realise it would mean ordering overseas but as you are in the EU it should be fairly inexpensive  :salute:

Thank you comis... Though this is exactly the sheath i was talking about, the seller himself said it would fit the F1, though he would not recommend it for the lack of guard on the F1 handle may imply a not 100% safe hold... Thank you anyway mate!  :salute:

Those are nice sheaths indeed, nut they have no extra space beside the knife. Thanks for the advice anyway :salute:
