Gerber 600 pro and Diesel question...
on: October 13, 2014, 01:01:33 AM
Is the phillips driver on either of these 2 dimensional, and how does the optional tool kit fit to the tool. Any additional thoughts about either tool would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance...

Stew...

Stew, the 600s have a 3d Phillips, the Diesel a 2d one. AFIK there are two different bit adopters for the Gerbers. The Diesel specific on rides on the Phillips and is held on by magnet. The one for the 600 was again for the Phillips but is long discontinued...I think.

If you end up going for a 600,use the Fuse type LM bit adopter..it fits Gerber 3d Phillips far better than it does LM ones!
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

Also, the Leatherman adapter that works with the Rebar and ST300 tools will also work with the driver on the MP600 philips.
