Xmas exchange again?
on: October 28, 2014, 05:17:33 PM
It takes me awhile to get things all together for this but was wondering who all is interested in doing it again this year?

I've never done this with a forum. But I'm game for it.

It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I sounds sooo fun but I don't think I should enter this year. I saw last year and most of the prizes were absolutely stunning (I mean srsly... CyberTool and NIB Emerald Climber?).

I'll probably be so concerned to make sure the receiver isn't dissapointed I'll pay more than my whole Christmas gifts so I'll stay away (unless I find a stunning deal here and think you guys would appreciate it too).

So, are the presents a surprise?
Most presents I saw worth more than 25$. Maybe there should be a price window to keep them roughly equal, say 30-60$ or something.

I'm using the same exact rules as I have for years now. $25 in the minimum the item can cost. If you want it to be something nicer that's fine but remember the person mailing to you is only required to mail a gift valued at $25

Nice to see you around Ash

I'm going to bow out this year as I'm calling a truce on the whole deal this time. Friends and family have received their instructions to leave me out of the whole gift fiasco, and we'll probably go out for a nice meal sometime between the 25th and 31st instead.

I'll probably still be snooping on what you lot are up to though  >:D

If I draw Chako I´ll send him a German made pocket knife and start a new sidebranch of his addiction by mentioning how many nice variants there are...  >:D

Just kidding. Interesting question, Bmot!
