50ft's big clearout
on: October 28, 2014, 07:29:40 PM
I need to shift a load of stuff. I'll be listing all the items in this thread and will answer questions or provide follow up pics as best as I can. If you think any prices are unfair or don't reflect the condition of the tools shown, feel free to PM me with details and/or an offer you feel will be fair on both of us. Over 18's only on all bladed items!!

First up is an item I bought a while back traded away, watched it cross the big pond a couple of times, then traded for it back from someone else  :D

Wenger Pocketgrip/Minigrip

This is a serrated main blade version, which has been been carried and lightly used but is still in very good condition. If there are any specific pics you'd like to see before buyings, let me know and I'll do what I can  :tu: All the bits in the holder are the originals which came with the tool. No sheath

Price £40 shipped within Europe, or +£5 for rest of the world

Victorinox "Coach" Climber

NOTE: This item is pre-reserved for Reinier.
I promised him if I ever sold it, he would get first refusal. If he says no, then it's up for grabs

This is a very hard to come by leather clad climber bearing the coach brand name. It has actually been carried a couple of times, but only in the drawstring poch shown here, and I can't remember ever using it. No point in me hanging onto this one, I have another "luxury" SAK which get's duty at all the formal occasions

Price £75 shipped Europe +£7.50 Rest of the World

(All prices are GBP)

Wenger Swissgrip  ..... the big bad BEASTIE of a multitool  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Used but still in great condition.  For more details on the tool, I actually compared it with other large framed tools in this thread <CLICKY> (BTW - the Grappler will be listed soon too  :D) I do have the bit adaptor and original set of bits for the Swissgrip .... somewhere (there's a reason they are not in the pic  ;)) ... but I thought I'd get it listed first then go hunting.

NOTE: I won't accept payment for this tool until I track those additional bits down

Again, if you want to see any specific pics or have any questions please let me know. There is no sheath for this tool

Price  £50 shipped Europe, + £5 Rest of the world

SOG Toolclip

(Remind me not to take pictures of reflective surfaces when there's brown items behind that can make it look like rust  I will redo those pics shortly. What a plonker!!)

It has been carried as part of a kit, and has done light work, but is still in very good condition. Non-locking blades (UK legal) and fixed pliers. Those of you that have handled a Toolclip will be able to confirm this tool is surprisingly ergonomic - it looks like it should be more uncomfortable than it is, but it doesn't feel bad in the hand at all.

Price ... ermm ....  the trouble with selling very uncommon tools is it's hard to be certain of a price. Although I do believe this one is a bit tricky to track down, so ...

I''m going to say £50 delivered Europe, +£5 Rest of the world

(all prices GBP)

Schrade Vise Grip ST6H

Yes, another hard to get oddball tool  :D I believe the "H" on the designation of this tool is because of the addition of the small driver, which wasn't on every version of this. This comes with no sheath, no box, and has been used ... but I've actually only ever used the pliers, and only for disassembling and modifying other multitools  >:D

Price £55 delivered Europe, +£5 Rest of the world

Wenger Toolchest

Good used condition. This one doesn't have the car logo on the scales, just plain old regular Wenger scales, and to the best of my knowledge they are the originals. Not very often you can get hold of a Wenger with Phillips but without the locking blade these days. Priced down due to used condition. If there's anything you specifically want closeups of to assess actual condition, ask away

£25 delivered Europe, probably not worth sending further afield I'd imagine

I'd say it's it's one for the pocket and not for the secret stash though  :pok: It's in good shape but lost it's drawer queen "twinkle" if you know what I mean

 :D

That TiNi is tempting and a couple of years ago I would have gotten it in a second..

Good prices and  50ft is a decent bloke, so anybody thinking about buying just go ahead and do it.
