I know I went on a hunt for what, for me, was to be the PERFECT MT, and I settled on the TiNi SOG Crosscut. Here's the kicker...

It's not that good. The scissors are not as precise as my original SOG Crosscut, and only marginally better than a 2.0.

It's in virtually new condition, and is a pretty, and rare tool, and I'm sure some collector out there would be thrilled to acquire it.

I'd like $50 via paypal. That includes cost of shipping CONUS. I'd prefer to stick with CONUS, since I can't guarantee it's safe arrival elsewhere.

I would be willing to trade for a Vic Spirit X, or... I dunno. Anything cool that caught my attention. Vic, Leatherman, possibly Gerber, as well as good flashlights...

I ceratinly have been looking for one of these in the past, but thanks to the MTo international network of enablers (a.k.a. world-wide Personal Shopping Assistants   ) I got a NIB one from Germany a while back (Thanks lowtech   :tu:).

I'll pass and let someone else add this little beauty to their collection (and they are truly beautiful, the SOG TiNi tools are just   )

It´s a beautiful tool and a very fair price.
And sorry, Lynn for providing one for Greg, too.... Would have been a quick deal.  ;)
I am sure someone will fetch this rather sooner than later.

So tempted, but I know if I get 1 I'll want the set!
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

The TiNi SOGs sure are purty, but there are quite a few to make up a "complete" set (I'm still looking for a couple of variants), then there are the relabelled versions made by SOG for other brands ......

Interesting factoid:  I think I read on MTo somewhere that the correct abbreviation is actually TiN, not TiNi (but TiNi is what everyone seems to use).

Yep.  It's Titanium (Ti) and Nitrogen (N) not Nickel (Ni).
