The terms and acronyms we use can be misinterpreted
on: October 30, 2014, 05:18:15 PM
I was chatting with a friend and threw around a few terms and she looked at me like I lost it.

SAK   I told her I forgot my SAK.

EDC   8)   She works at a University and said EDC meant something entirely different than the tools I was carrying. I'll let you look that up.

T & T  ???  Now we all know it mean Tweezers and Tooth pick but for the uninformed it means Trinitrotoluene.  Not a word you'd want to use on an airplane.

:D   I mentioned that I have more G's than I could wear in a week and would probably stop buying them unless I see something I really liked.  She laughed and said she always saw me a boxers type of guy.

MOD   Anyone seen the movie Quadrophenia.  MODS MODS WE ARE THE MODS.

These were just a few the she brought to my attention that I foind pretty funny.

Yeah, SAK is a pretty easy one to misinterpret in basically every sentence in which we use it ;)
