Here is a neat little sharpener that would make a good companion for those out in the field. The Camillus GLIDE sharpener is a multitool in its own right. The device resembles the shape and size of a large folder. You get several ways to sharpen items that need sharpening. For example, along the edge, you get 4 sharpening zones, and 3 more zones located in the middle of the tool. Above that, you get 4 Torx bits (1 on each corner -T6, T8, T9, and T10), and a flat head screwdriver at home on one end. The Torx and flat head driver all not detachable, and thus I have to wonder how long they would last before becoming damaged.

Note in the above photos, only one side is labeled. There is also a hole for a lanyard which isn't included with the tool.
On the top side, there are nice arrows tell you which direction your blade should go for proper sharpening. You get a straight multi angle and V carbide sharpener, as well as a ceramic V sharpener.

On the bottom edge, you get a long ceramic sharpener with a groove for sharpening hooks.

Cut into the tool, are 3 angled sharpeners for scissors etc with 20, 30, and 45 degree angles. All told, a nice little sharpener. My complaint have to center around the drivers. They are short and stubby, limiting access to anything flush with a surface. If it is found at the bottom of anything greater than 5mm deep, forget about it. Likewise, those Torx drivers stick out enough to get caught in things, and because they are small, they can also prick your hands when you grab a hold of the tool for use. I jammed a few Torx drivers into my palm just playing around with it. I can only imagine grabbing it in the field with cold hands. If you can live with that, then this sharpener offers quite a bit of options in sharpening blades, knives, hooks, and anything that needs it.
