Kampfer, that's an interesting challenge, and a very generous giveaway attached!

I'm out though. The only family member I have us the Style PS,but there's just no way I can get through December in a toy shop with only a PS.

I did have a Skeli, but I wouldn't dare carry one in the height of Londons stabbing season!

Good luck to all the nutters entering :tu:

Ps
Just remembered I've got the Freestyle too. It's still a no!
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I have used my Skele as my WDC (work day carry) for the last 10 months or so. It is fine for the job, but I mainly use it for the blade as it is "paired" with a Classic SD and full toolbox of "real" tools. To be honest it could be replaced with a OHO folder but I feel the LM will be less WMD looking than some tacticool folder if I have to explain it to Mr Plod.  :police:
Out of work hours I'm sure I would miss scissors, nail file and a driver I could pry with too much.

To get warmed up for this one, I've been pocket carrying a Skeletool today.  Not clipped, but down in the pocket.  Its doable, especially when I ditch my regular folder.

I switched off when it was going to be Skeletool.  Don't have one, locking blade and all that.  Then Style PS was OK, which I do have, except its hacked.  Hacked Skeltool is mentioned but not hacked PS  :pok:.  Problem is the hack is Dime blade in place of nail file.  Recently my Evo 18 re-profiled nail file has been a well used tool.

No way will the Style PS manage my Festive Season so I'll give this a miss.  However thanks for the heads-up on Supertool 300 combo pack.   Did I say Festive Season...

I can't decide if I should warm up for this challenge by starting to EDC my Skeletool again, or if I should get as much quality time with my modded tools as I can before I ditch them for a month... :ahhh

Oh no. It is my opinon that pre gaming something like this is a bad idea. Use this time to get your fill of changing your tool say 4 or 5 times a day.

Pretty sure the need for more tool won't be the worst part but being stuck with one tool for the whole month.

Skelly related question that I thought could go here.

Does it come with the pocket clip or is that always something you have to purchase seperately?

the pocket clip comes standard on all Skeletool models, but it's easily removable if you prefer to go clipless. :tu:

Cant get a Skele for $40 over here. And I would have to get the CX version that is even more expencive, as I dont like CE blades.  I dont think I would miss many tools though, as I usually EDC a Wenger SI combined with a Vic Manager and a folder. The only tool I would probably miss is the scissors on the manager.  :)

I thought the CX had the PE and the regular Skelly had the CE blade? Not a fan of CE blades so this challenge should beinteresting in that regard.

Yeah I am thinking that I will go with the Skelly in the pocket rather then mess with the whole belt pouch situation. It only weighs 5oz which is about an oz more then my Millie which is no issue to carry everyday.

Hacked Skeltool is mentioned but not hacked PS  :pok:
Skeletool* = Any tool from the Skeletool family.
I like to see someone so hardocre enter the challenge with a Style.

Skeletool is a knife, with pliers and driver as bonus, pocket clip carry is the way to go.

Ohh... If only I had a skeletool.  :-\

Having this challenge in December is perfect for me, due to the fact that I'm gonna open a helluvalot of boxes and cutting packing strips; something simple, that still has the pliers and bit driver would pretty much cover all my needs. That is, if I either had it or could afford it right now.

Guess I'll just have to settle with looking at you lot instead. And drooling over your tools...

Same her in Germany. Usually 65€ for the SS and 80€ for the CX can be called a good deal, prices are often above that. Thats around 82$ for the SS and 100$ for the CX. Plus shipping.
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael
