I'm a long time lurker and finally decided to join MTO.  :salute:

I've lurked so long that I feel like I know many of you already.   Have a few Leathermans,  a couple SAKs, and a couple of BO Swisstools and am an old retired guy with way too much time on my hands.  The knowledge on MTO and people's willingness to share is amazing.

MTO is a great forum and a lot of fun.  I'm looking forward to being a member and contributing if I have anything worth saying.   :2tu:

Howdy, so a couple BO Swisstools huh?  Do you have the NATO one?  I think its a NATO or was is Australian  :think:.

I used to have a BO Swiss Tool, does yours have the Army NSN on the side? I wish I never got rid of mine now.  :facepalm:

They're Australian, never heard of them being issued elsewhere.  I have one, sweet tool.  :tu:

The BO Swisstools are not military issue.  They're strictly a commercial version although I did purchase them at a BX (base exchange) when they were on sale.  Don't know if Victorinox is offering a BO Swisstool any longer.

Good to have you man!

I'm glad you like the place.  I'm pretty proud of it and I get a charge out of how many others like it too.  :D

But, I've always said that I didn't make this place what it is, it's all members.  Everyone who has made a post here, even just once, has helped shape this place.  And, as we close in on a MILLION posts, well it's obvious we are all doing something right.   :D
