My wife lost my wave.
on: November 23, 2014, 03:22:20 PM
Yep, I loaned it to her to cut the string off of a bale of hay and she lost it.
Can anyone recommend a good lawyer. Im trying to decide between divorce and justifiable homicide.
Let this be a lesson to us all never lend my wife your leatherman.

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer.

Surely you mean what would be a good first LM to buy my wife?

I'll answer my own question.  Micra for starters.

No, get her a Surge or a MUT. Both are big, heavy, and should resist being lost compared to something small like a Micra.

Funny thing is, I thought ahead on this subject and when my wife wants to borrow an MT from me, I put on a foot long safety orange paracord lanyard.   :tu:  Its proved very very useful!  Same goes for my good folding saw.

1) THIS is why we all say 'get two'.  ::) (TOTALLY not because we're enablers)
2) Yeah, the safety orange paracord thing.
3) NOW you should get two to replace it. No... wait. 4. 2 for you, and 2 for her.
4) It might also be time to get a metal detector.  :D

Buy her a Leap. She thinks you're buying her a present, you're actually getting your revenge. >:D

The brightly colored lanyard is and excellent idea.  I once temporarily lost a BO MT in the grass of all places.  I looked for it for an hour I believe and finally found it.

Get a large magnet and scour the scene of the lost tool.

Get her a Wingman or Sidekick of her own or a SAK.  The WM/SK are pretty inexpensive ( depending where you are ).

Wife in the dog house huh?  Oh the fun this can be  >:D

They suck, when I lost my first sak back when I was 12 me and the neighbor went looking for hours, notta! It's all in faith, a year later I was running around tripped and fell, as I shook my head I saw something under a leaf and there she was sitting in her sheath! Now if I could only find my other sak from when I moved.. JR

I sent her to search the pasture now that the snow melted. She managed to find it. Not it will onle be a divorce as opposed to a homicide. LOL
Great suggestion to get her to carry her own. Unfortunately she wont. She has half a dozen pocket knives and about a dozen mora fixed blades but refuses to carry one when doing farm chores. Good thing I didn't marry her for her common sense.

I don't know what is worse. Loosing your MT yourself (done it) or let your better half do it for you... You rather be angry at yourself or have someone to blame?

Sorry guys... But it's a really good excuse to get some TLC :)

Also when I lost my Surge (even though it magically returned to me) it gave me a really good excuse to rethink my main MT and ended up with a Recharge...
