  • I may get older but I refuse to grow up.

I'm in need of some parts. :D

1)
I want to convert my BO Charge ALX to a Wave ALX and would need the BO Wave frame to do so. No need for any of the inside or outside tools, not even the pliers, but if they're in decent condition, I wouldn't say no. :P I don't mind if the handles have wear on them, as long as they arn't bent and you haven't ran them over with your lawn mower. >:D

2)
Gerber scissors and saw (Diesel) needed to be fitted inside my MP600.

3)
LM bit adapter, the small one that goes over the phillips screwdriver. I don't need the complete set with bits as I already have those. Just after the adapter.

Let me know if you have any of those. I'd buy and possibly trade if I have something you want. ;)

I missed it as I must have read the post in the two minutes before he edited it. :D

See you in the other thread.

Hey Boys!
I was cut off the internet for a few days.

I will let go off the saw, if someone tells  me what to fill the empty slot with.

And regarding scissors - If Zoidberg gets the fisherman and does not need mine, I can send them your way.

Okay now I am confused. I was going to ask you to send me the scissors thinking they could go with the saw to enki who will foward them on later. Now I'm not sure if enki also wants the scissors or if you mean to replace the saw with the scissors so you can send the saw?

Being new to MP mods I have no idea what can be swapped with what. I don't mind sending back the parts I don't use but you probably don't want double ups and that just ends up costing me more as well.

Hopefully I don't like the fisherman and don't mind breaking it down. Did they ever make a blunt nose compact sport?

Think I'm still looing for a universal coupler too.

Nik, the scissors ... are you speficially looking for the ones from a Diesel, or would the ones from a MP700 do?

Thomas, replacing the saw ... you could switch the combo edged blade to a plain blade, and then add in a serrated blade, or you could remove the 2D Phillips and switch it for a 3D one ... or you could lose the lanyard and do both  :D

Zoidie, you breaking down that Fisherman for anything specific? The diamond file wouldn't be up for grabs would it?  :pok:

I can live without the scissors for a while. :D So we can scratch that one off the list. I just wanted to test out the Diesel saw but if it complicates things too much I'm fine with the package of parts going straight to Zoidberg. :hatsoff:

Another pair of saw and scissors will come along soon enough. I can wait. :D

I'm only asking because I have a pair of scissors off a MP700 I could send you ...

They're not BO though ...

Me or Zoid? Mine is a silver one, Zoid's is a mix and match of silver and BO. :D

Zoid wants scissors too? Well, I've only got one stainless MP700 pair I can let go ...

Fight amongst yourselves  :D :D

But the Christmas period means I'm off work, which means I can get to the PO easier  ;)
Send me you're addy through again, and I'll get them off to you next week. We'll worry about the rest of it later

If you find they're not for you, but Zoidie wants them - just pass them on :tu:

1. The diamond file is going to be used sorry.

2. I'll have the scissors from the fisherman. It would be nice to have scissors in both the fisherman and MP600 but I can make do with just the one. I am wondering if the MP700 scissors are better in any way? Happy to let enki have the scissors.

3. Please send enki the saw. I want to see the testing done.

I can provide the MP 600 saw. SS. and it is basically the same as in the MP 700, IIRC the MP 700 one is a tad shorter and has a plastic nub on the lever arm.

No plastic nub, and the cutting edges are the same length as the MP400, but the operating arm is shorter

Sorry for the wait. I had some translating to do as you may or may not have gathered from the German thread. :P

1. The diamond file is going to be used sorry.

I'm guessing you're thinking scissors here, not saw, right?

Al and I have been talking about a trade regarding a SAK for probably a year now, maybe longer. :D So we'll trade among ourselves and Zoidberg and lowtech can do the trade for the saw and the other scissors. ;)

If lowtech should stumble upon another Diesel saw some day I'm sure he'll let me know. :hatsoff: It's getting a bit wet for forest set saw testing so maybe we should let Zoidberg do the first set of tests in a more fitting climate and I'll do mine in the spring. :salute:

Sorry for confusing this even more...
Yes, I meant Scissors. I cannot spare the saw out of the Diesel as I don´t have anything useful to replace it with.

I´ll pm Zoidberg, I guess.
