Love those wooden ones. I have even been checking something like that out for a while, but haven't decided the size yet.
Other than this basic toolbox my tools are all around. Few always missing. Nothing much to look at, but easy to carry still... I guess.

Wow! Nice thread that I  :like: a lot but never got to see before.
I feel inspired and will put all my MTs in a wooden box
They had to be organised and cleaned this month sooner or later anyway so why not?
There are much less than all those big collections so it won't take much time

Will post pics tomorrow  :salute:

Wood is a fine material to store multi-tools in.  :tu:

Not really a toybox as I use it at work, but I built this small 3 drawer chest as a means of keeping many of the small tools I use from flowing all over my bench.
It's just a little nicer to look at than the plastic Dexion bins provided.
Meranti carcass and Tasmanian Oak drawers. Couldn't find any brass knobs that I liked and was thinking "Pity they don't make those black ones in brass... Wait a minute, what's under that lacquer?" Job done.

Yes, that's a SAK in the middle drawer. A pre-hook Climber.
and yes again, that is an "Intel Inside. Pentium" sticker.

Love the Moore & Wright machinist's chest.  They don't make them like that any more.  Or maybe they do but we don't get them here - some of the modern American ones look pretty nice.  I have one of modern far-eastern manufacture, which is solid enough I guess, but the workmanship is decidedly unimpressive.  And the flock lining that's stuck in the drawers seems to have some sort of corrosive chemical in it.  Carbon steel blades develop rust really quickly on any spots where they touch the lining.

Most of my SAKs are in the display cases.
