Repaired Buck sheath
on: January 02, 2015, 03:01:11 AM
So the original sheath for my X-Tract broke a while back, the snap button on the front actually broke. I found this pretty odd to be honest, but when I emailed Buck about it they very kindly shipped me a new one no questions asked.

I don't really like to throw things away if they still have a chance of working. So I hung onto it, and today decided to try to fix it as best I could. I'll be using it for my Sidekick, because I really don't like having something as substantial as a MT clipped to my pocket, it tends to dig into my hand if I put my hand in the pocket and it gets old.

Yeah, dremeled the end of a spent magnum round off and attached it to the metal underneath that I reshaped to make sure it wouldn't pull through the material.
