I've just bought a RR Half Hawk, and I'm blaming you Capt If you hadn't started this thread,I'd not gave started looking at Bucks etc etc etc
I'll be interested to see the results. I have a 112 Ranger with finger groves from 1980-81.Looks like your 110 was made in the 1974-80 years and the 112 was from 1981-1986 erahttp://www.buckknives.com/about-knives/how-old/

You might get a answer you are not expecting and make things real easy. If not then you know it is not a option and you can go from their.

Cap, do you use a dedicated camera or your cell phone for your pics? You always seem to easily take very close up and detailed photos of your toys.

Don't own a cell phone. Funny enough I use a old, crappy, point and shoot I bought probably 7 years ago. Its so crappy it doesn't even work half the time and I have to hit it to get it working again. I have been wanting to save up for a decent camera with a super Macro mode.
HEYY, I used to have a couple knives just like those !

I really need to start using my camera more. My cell phone, while capable of taking quality pics, the focus goes all sorts of bat smurf crazy when you get that close to objects.Regardless, nice pictures.
I allways loved looks of classic Buck. Love to see how they come. Great pictures of your old cam. You have skills.
The worst part is the wait! I sent my ALX back to leatherman and they took like 6 days to process it once it arrived. I'm not sure if they replaced it or fixed it! Hopefully Buck will be quicker! I can't imagine the setup line they have for sharpening.
