Any specific reason you use index cards instead of a feild notes, riteintherain, or spiral bound flips?

I don't have any of the things you mention, besides, I am sure they are just too thick (or too large in area) to fit. The fit is also "tune-able" with the # of index cards.

Besides, I have a bunch of day glow colored index cards that need to be used up somehow.

Ah. I like that you used what you had, I have a terrible habit of spending 5 dollars here or 6 dollars there to get something new that will fit.

It adds up quite quickly, for example, waterproof expedition field notes.....
