I'll let this run to the end of the month when my kids will pick a winner.
They put in a lot of time cleaning up the used parts and putting this prize together.

Favorite EDC piece... My 4Sevens Preon 01.



Two years ago, I was visiting my father-in-law for Christmas. He was using a crappy plastic flashlight to take his evening walks, and it was eating 2 C batteries a week, and threw very little light. So, I gave him my (recently acquired) Preon 01. It will run a good long time on a single AAA. As most of you know, a little over a year ago, he passed away from Pancreatic Cancer, and the flashlight returned to me. It makes me very happy to know that it served faithfully for him in his final months. Now, it is back to standard duty with me, finding stuff in dark corners, and helping me take out the garbage at night.

My most-used plier-based MT is my Wave. Love it.

As I said in the other thread, I'll sit this one out as I have (more than) my fair share of knifeless mods already, and would like someone else to have the honour and enjoyment of this. There's lots of guys and gals out there for whom a knifeless multitool like this will solve a lot of problems.

My favorite Plier based MT is my Charge TTi (Modded with Rebar head, and Phillips instead of bit adapter

But I'll declare that it is difficult to decide which is my favorite EDC.
If I consider use, it is the Opinel #8 Couteau de Jardin
The most carried is the Minichamp & Ladybug pair.
And the most admired is the Spirit which is my EDC plier based tool.

Here is my favorite EDC piece, it is that cute little 8 Gig Croc USB drive that glows in the dark. I use that quite often for work related stuff. My second favorite piece is the Leatherman Knifeless Fuse. The Swiss+Tech 6in1 UtiliKey is another constant companion. I keep that one hidden among the keys.

Favourite edc item is my Pioneer, and my (soon to be) most used multi is my new BO Spirit.  It should have been my standard Spirit, but I can't see that getting much use from now on.

My favorite EDC piece is the Boker Tactical Roper. Its the knife that suits me best. Excellent ergonomics, very light, sits perfectly in my pocket, holds a great edge, excellent blade shape and low cost.


So I rarely use a plier based MT, but when I do, its my Spirit RT

The Zebra pens,and the little OLight are the only two consistant parts to my EDC. Everything else changes,but those two items stay all the time!

Most carried MT? That would be my KST mod,a Bladeless PST

as I mentioned before, I'll sit this one out, but here are some pics just so I can play along.

my favorite EDC piece has to be my Skeletool CX... I got it at the LM factory store in 2008 before it was available anywhere else, and it served as my trusty EDC for over 4 years until I got into modding.



but if I have to pick a favorite MT, it has to be my original ReCharge. it has gone through plenty of changes sine that first post, but it has served me well, and I'm very happy with the way it has turned out.

Love the knifeless Charge you made LB but will sit this one out so someone from a place with stupid knife laws can win it and get the most use.

Still going to post a couple of pics and tell my fave tool because all of you amateurs are doing this wrong. Below you will find the response one would send if they really wanted to win.

My favorite tool has to be the Trigger Knife kit. Only someone who is smart as a button could understand why.

Here is a picture I stole from LB himself showing one. I would also like to add in case I did not say it enough the two girls in this picture are pretty and I bet super smart.

Favourite peace of EDC is my Spyderco Military.  Carry it most days.
Favourite tool with pliers is a Victorinox Yeoman Mechanic that I put wood scales on.  The pliers aren't big but I find they come in handy for lots of small tasks.
