Original Skeletool w/Straight Blade

Hey all,

Looking for an original Skeletool. (Non cx) with a straight edged blade on it!

will this be a collection piece or a user?

if it's going to be a user, it will probably be easier to find a "regular" Skeletool with the CE blade, buy a PE blade separately, then do a blade swap. the original PE Skeletools are getting harder to find.

Yeah I was hoping someone on the forum had already taken tha step. It will be a mod and build peice, so any condition is fine.

I guess if anyone has a skeletool with any blade I'll take It off your hands

Funny this should come up now, I was going through my various multis and found I still have a PE, all steel Skeletool, circa 2009. I'm not at home to take any pictures, but should be tomorrow. If you're interested. I'll send you a PM tomorrow.

This is what I am doing. Blades come up all the time here.

Assuming you and Getty don't work something out of course.

Yeah the real goal though would be to make a blade like "evil" did for my cx. Then just swap original cx blade to my SS (once I have one)

I was wondering if a blade from a bigger Leatherman could work, I think some modding might be required around the pivot area though.

It might work, the hardest point would be shaping the blade so the point rests within the scale. I'm also not sure how much bigger they actually are...

Nope. Not enough metal.

I'd simply buy a straight blade off of Brian in the Sales threads if you can't find an old SS Skele.
