WOKit, a Carabiner multitool
on: January 23, 2015, 07:52:28 PM
This is an instruction video for WOKit, a Carabiner multitool made by WOHO.   It is marketed to bicyclists, but looks like it has wider application.

+1 on that. Although it is on the large side...
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Ratcheting caribeaner is quite awesome.

There really is a giant industry out there for bicycle tools. They do a fairly good job of pushing limits and making new ideas.

I could actually be tempted to try this out. Although I don't see a way to easily carry the bits with the rest of the tool - maybe that was covered in the last 30 seconds, that my phone wouldn't let me watch?

In the cover photo for the vid the one attached to the persons belt loop has a rubber bit holder  attached to the gate of the carabineer. It sits inside the frame of the carabineer and is holding 4 bits 2 up and 2 down.

The problem is the way it attaches to the gate appears to impede the locking collar and halving both the bit carrier and the wrench blocking the open space of the carabineer would make it unable to readily clip to anything.
Even with the wrench as a dangler they would have had to  swivel the bit carrier out of the way and pulled it over the arm joint just to be able to work the lock and open  the gate, then put it all back to make it look pretty for the photo.

still want one though...but when I google "WOKit" I get "Wok It" Chinese restaurants.
maybe I should find one and see if this is their Happy Meal Toy
dam it now I want egg rolls
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

It looks excellent but I can't even see any info on it or pricing on their site. Just some reference on FB that it will be available in 2015.
