Bloody hell he must be part elf!! That was outstanding archery!I've done a bit of archery and I can only be in awe of that level of skill! Thanks for posting
I'm somewhat lost for words, that's very impressive. While I cannot even begin to dispute his incredible skill, I not quite so convinced that his evidence for right side shooting is quite so universal. Looking at medieval European art is a very dubious way of gaining detail, lots of changes are made simply to keep the image easy to follow rather than a firm attempt to capture exactly how things looked or were done. So while I have indeed seen images showing the arrow to the right of the bow, I've also seen images with the arrow to the left. I'm not inclined to dismiss it as a hollywood myth myself.
Fast forward to about 1:30 and you'll see some other pretty impressive archery. Not as fast as the opening video perhaps, but hardly what you'd call slow.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yorHswhzrU
That is impressive!

The bow it's upside down, the rest is below the hand...I guess the only thing right is the arrow with the point facing forward. Everything else is SOOO wrong...
