Case Lockhorn...
on: January 25, 2015, 03:42:17 AM
I asked this question on another forum and no results for  approx. a week. I just pulled my Lockhorn out of the safe and found lots of verdigris on the bolsters and case snap and rivets. I removed it with a tooth brush and a little metal glow polish. Will this cleaning ruin the value of the knife substantially? It was LNIB prior to clean up. Thanks. tom.

Do you mean Case?

It should be fine as long as you didn't mar the knife while cleaning.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, sorry I meant to write Case instead of Buck. The only thing I can see is light swirls on the bolsters. I think they might be removable tho. tom.
