Hi everyone! This is my first post and I´d like to congratulate the administrators and contributors for this great forum. I run a small company in South America in the automation field. Being working with mechatronics for more than a decade and being a SAK fun for more than 30 years I decided to join my passions and started a project last year trying to embed a couple of electronics instruments in Sak scales. I have succeeded in making some simple implementation of a project named Superprobe (
http://mondo-technology.com/super.html) and before I could make a good finish to such a nice project I started a new version based on the Arduino project. I have a preliminary working circuit with an Oled 128X32, Bluetooth and Lipo. Righ now I am working on CNC milling the scales in 7075 aluminum and making moldes for some parts. As it is mainly an electronic device I have started a project on
http://hackaday.io/project/4074-sak-mod-for-hackers, But I would like to post the progress here as we have a lot of mechanical stuff to do. I have no comercial interest on the project, so I will be glad to share all the info, files and materials. This is a single man working on weekends and few free hours project. Intel presented an amazing device called Curie on CES 2015. Curie is basically a microcomputer the size of a botton with all peripherals I´ve be dreaming for years. Curie has not been launched on market yet, but I have changed some concepts to be ready to upgrade the project to use this new wearable technology.
