No blade Victorinox spirit
on: January 26, 2015, 08:27:50 AM
I have about ten multitools based on pliers, mostly Leathermans, and all have knive blades. Because I allways carry a knife I wanted a multitool without knife blade. Butter knife on Vic Spirit is strange shaped blade, which I have never used. So I changed it into marlin spike. My love to Vic spirit increased since.

As a "watery type" I really like this mod - I carry a rope knife anyway so this really appeals  :gimme:

What tool(s) did you use to cut off the excess knife blade?   Looks like a nice, clean job.

I used Dremel thin cutting disc to cut off, then mini belt sander. Polish in the end.

Love it  I always seem to need a marlin spike at work which is why I carry a dedicated one when on duty.
