Harrison Ford carried a SAK?

Interesting discussion with Adam Savage at the Hollywood Costume Exhibition.

Costume designer, Deborah Nadoolman-Landis, discusses aging the original Indiana Jones jacket the night before the first shooting for Raiders of the Lost Ark with Harrison Ford.

"Harrison's a Carpenter... He used to be able to carry a big Swiss Army Knife"

Mentioned at about 17:30 on the video.

You understand that she was a professional costume designer, right? And that she put the exhibition together... right?

She is absolutely THE expert in that video. Adam is a very skilled (and enthusiastic, and well-known) amateur in this matter.

You are right Lynn, but still need more Adam with a touch of Jamie. I can see how that would go if it was just Jamie there. LOL!

Well, he used a slipjoint pocketknife in Rotla, but it was no SAK - looks like a stag-scaled Lindner. He´s known for improvising, and somewhere i´ve read it was his own knife.

Probably she´s no knife expert, and many people call every pocketknife with such a appearance a SAK.
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael

I do realize that. But they shouldn't consider this part of the Adam Savage Project.

It's a great video, tons of info, but I still would rather see more adam regardless.

It's NOT part of 'Still Untitled: The Adam Savage Project'.

AND it's not an 'Adam Savage One Day Build'

It's just a video for Tested, where Adam hosts an interview with Deborah.

I know, I know... You STILL want more Adam. :D

Also... I really envy the position Adam's in, where he can do such cool things for a living.

I completely agree. He really has one of the best jobs in the world in my opinion. He gets to do what he loves while getting paid and honing his skills every day. Truly awesome.
