What the dog and I will be doing?

If you guessed a day hike and a little bushcrafting, you would be correct.
If you guessed something else, get your mind out of the gutter! It is already crowded in here,..........LOL!

Used my Tomahawk to cut out a flat spot on this log. Logs are nature's work benches.

Making some tent pegs.....

Pounding then into the ground with my hawk.

Time to make the pot hanger.

Take the long stick and sharpen one side into a point.
One the other end, make a flat on both side.

Now take the knife and carve a divot on one side.

  You should get a Joby GorillaPod and get in some of them photos - assuming your camera has a timer function.

Next baton 3 or more "X"s on the short stick. Depends on how high or low you want to hang your pot.

X should look like this.

Now take your knife and do some carving.

Should look like this.

Cut and sharpen the Y stick.

Jam the Y stick and long stick in the ground. Then rest the hanging stick on the long stick.

I am really thinking it might be easier to make videos instead. Try to hold the camera/phone is hard when trying to carve, cut and chop with the hawk. And forget trying start a fire with flint and steel while holding the phone/camera.
