polishing carbon steel ?

I want too polish my old kukri,any tips  :salute:

If it's light stuff, I like Flitz. It takes off all kinds of surface stains etc and won't hurt the metal...really makes it shine! :tu:

Polishing mop in an electric drill and some compound

Or bring it to my garage and use my spork polisher  :pok:

I have grey and blue, I think. The colours denote the Grit size. They came in solid blocks, like Plasticine, and you rub some on the powertool attachment, the mop.

I am sure sparky will know more, especially regarding UK brands

I'm only asking as if its bad you might have to start with some fine wet an dry then work up the grits to the compound
