Those are some great photos.

I went for a 6-7 mile jaunt recently.  The rains filled some local creeks so I wanted to see how much so.  It went thru a ranch built at the turn of the century ( yea here thats old ) and was pretty full.  We've been so drought stricken it was nice to see.  We saw lots of deer tracks which was also cool.

I want to go back and explore a bit more since its about 3700 acres of open land.

Beautiful Aloha!

Thanks.  Its 3700 acres of protected land.  I'll be getting back out to do some other trails.  Cool thing is there are designated Mt Bike trails and even horse trails.

@DKS

Will you need to further process those olives? I was thinking pickling, marinating, or something else?

Aloha, these ones are purely for olive oil production.

The ones that will be used for eating were picked earlier, carefully, and are specially selected for that purpose.
The ones picked during the past few days tend to get bruised as they fall to the ground and are not ideal for being preserved.
You can do it, but the results will not be good enough.

Walked about 12 miles on a sunny winter day. There was hardly any wind and it felt warm, even though temperatures were just above freezing. I had a 10 minute break lying in a hay stack in the fields and nearly fell asleep!

Just in case anyone is wondering just how big of an idiot I am.....

Yesterday I bought skates and today I am heading out to try them.  It's been over 30 years since the last time I skated, and I wasn't any good at it then either.

Now I'm over 40, with a total of ten screws and a metal plate holding my feet together.   :ahhh

Don't worry, I'm sure Megan will film the whole thing, if for not other reason to make it easier to explain to the paramedics what happened....
