Kick mods

First I had to extract the necessary bits from some donor Rebar handles. This proved to be fairly tricky, so I went the home-made engineer plier route.

That did the trick, now I have an awl and file ready for transplant into their new home.

Sweet mod, I modded a pair pliers they turn out just ok they worked. I like the way you drilled yours. I bought two pairs of pliers from the dollars store to practice on. When I get I right I want to mod a multitool.  What size drill bit did you use?

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Thanks, I actually should have gone with a larger diameter bit, something closer to the pivot screw size.. These were just grabbing by the corners and had a tendency to slip. I may work on them some more and see if I can get them to fully seat on the pivot serrations.

I also ended up using boiling water to loosen the thread lock on the kick, didn't want the lighter to melt the zytel inserts.
