Western Cutlery Bowie

Recently i aquired this knife in like new condition as you can see in the pictures.
Now i know it's no longer produced because the company is gone, but can anyone tell me what sort of steel was used for the blade ?
I think it's stainless but what kind ?

Aparrently it's 420HC  :)
