Coolest SAK by layer
on:
February 28, 2015, 02:08:52 AM
Similar to my other thread Coolest SAK by size.
http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,57752.0.html
Here are my favorite SAK's by layer.
1 layer - Waiter Plus
If you don't need the extra stuff that comes with the Plus scales get the 84mm version.
2 layer - Compact
Very cool 2 layer knife with scissors.
3 layer - Cadet Plus
Was a close one for me. I also like the Yeoman a lot.
4 layer - Outrider
Great tool set on this knife. No idea why they discontinued it .
5 layer - Ranger
Between this and the Woodsman for me. Was close. I just picked the Ranger because well.....it's the one I have
6 layer - Workchamp
Handyman would be a close second.
7 layer - Cybertool 41
One of the most useful tool sets ever on a SAK IMO.
8+ layers SwissChamp XAVT

Outrider is discontinued???
Just in North America. It has been for a few years now. They don't get many models that are still available in Europe or Asia. Not even the ALOX Bantam or Harvester.
