Hubeo and Driezack tools
on: March 01, 2015, 02:41:45 AM
Hello!

I am new to multi tools. Well, not new per sey. I have the Leatherman multi tool, but I have never seen multi tools like these two kits. I purchased them from an auction. I just could not pass them up since they looked so unique. The Hubeo tool kit is complete, where the Driezack tool kit is missing some vital pieces. I am going to be on the look out for those pieces, if I can find them.

Does anyone know what the value of these kits are? And help me identify the pieces that are missing from the Driezack kit? I know i am missing the main handle, and I believe pliers and channel locks(???).

Both tool kits are in leather pouches and are in real good condition.

Thanks for your help!
Michael

Welcome Michael,

When you get a moment drop by the intro forum and say hello.

Your sets could be valuable.  The larger more complete sets with cases usually go for more at auctions on eBay.  Check out past auctions for price ranges.

Check out the Collector's forum for several threads with photos of similar sets.

Welcome to the forum. :waving:

Here's a thread where we have the most variations of these kits gathered.

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,49824.0.html

You can post pictures of yours there too for more info.

Looks to me that the second set is missing the most important part. The knife that acts as a handle for all the other implements. And that would reduce the value considerably.

Also, I'm guessing you wrote it wrong and it's in fact Dreizack, not Driezack. ;) That translates to trident.

That would make the it Dreizack Solingen, or Wüsthof made kit.

This set looks pretty much exactly like yours and it appears you're missing another set of pliers or two as well. This set was selling for about $74 but didn't sell and it's more complete. :-\

This is the largest Hubeo set I have ever seen.

Usual disclaimers, not selling, not recommending, don't know the seller, caveat emptor.

Ditto.  Very impressive (but not quite impressive enough for me to actually buy it  ;)  )
