on: March 10, 2015, 09:22:31 PM
Evening chaps,

Newbie here. I am new to the world of MTs, SAKs etc, but its very enjoyable to learn about this fascinating topic.

I have a few Leatherman tools but prefer SAKs if I am honest.

Look forward to getting to know you.

With best,

SY

welcome mate
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Thanks! Yes I have carefully selected my models and think I've enjoyed the search. The minitool is an absolute delight and accurate set of needle nose pilers. The handle is very comfortable even under pressure.

I don't care for the spirit really and think it would be overkill for my needs. The swisstool is very handy but I'm still a little precious, sounds draft but I'm don't want to harm it. The Tii is a workhorse and I'll abused her a lot. Takes a beating but soon I'll send back for a service.

With my craftsman now I really think I'm done. A master electrician would be the icing on the cake, but two Philips head drivers seems odd. Still, if anyone has one for sale, keep me in mind.

Don't know the shop in Crews Hill but I find such stores expensive and prefer buying online. The Farmer was only £20 delivered from a sale shop I heard about though the Candle Power Forum.

Look forward to learning more about SAKs in due course.
