...

Andre Franquin is one of my favourite comics artists :hatsoff:

I feel the same way.  :hatsoff:
I have a lot of cartoons from Franquin. And it's always amazing to read it.

One of the most bitter moments of my life: The comic museum in Brussels and not knowing French...  :-(

I know what you mean. I like comics as an art form with a strong preferance to the humorous genre. There's some excellent stuff in French, you can tell just by looking at the books.

Actually, comics really helped me better understand French. Accent apart :ahhh , it was very different from Greek and whatever English I knew as I was growing up. Then again, comics helped me learn to read in the first place.  ;)

:D Very glad to meet another fan of Franquin! He's witted and sensitive, with a humour accessible to children, but with a well-timed nerve adults can enjoy. A tender and profound humour that is reflected on the way he draws. One of my favourite, really. Nice picture there, it makes me want to dig mine out of storage

You need to do something about improving your French and the lack of tranlated versions :pok:
