Singletrack MTB magazine tool review
on: March 21, 2015, 09:37:43 PM
Looking around for reviews as I'd like to upgrade my biking toolkit, and came across this review of a mix of multitools - some bike specific, some not, such as Gerber Diesel and Vic Swiss Tool : http://singletrackworld.com/reviews/multitool-mini-grouptest/

Nearly choked when I saw the prices they quoted!! :ahhh I paid nothing like that for mine.
I don't carry a conventional multitool far too many wasted tools.
But recently bought the Brooks multitool (cheap off ebay) arrived still carded clearly stating "Made in Taiwan"

Needless to say I still rely on my old bumbag containing proper tools in it. Gets the jobs done without the phaffing :tu:

I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Yeah, I can't imagine paying that much for a multitool. :o

I've been honing the toolkit over the last few years - did post a pic a while back in another thread.  I like to keep it in a small saddle bag as I prefer not to carry tools on me while riding if I can help it.  I've now got some more tools for it, so will try to get some photos taken.
