Mr. T has a new show
on: March 22, 2015, 05:41:05 PM
So Mr. T is going to be doing a new home improvement show called (are you ready for this?) I Pity The Tool.

I wonder what multitool we'll see Clubber Lang carry?

look at it as some silly joke and perhaps it turns out good
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

He gave up the jewelry years ago because he thought it was offensive to people who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.

Amusing story about why he started wearing the jewelry though.   He was a bouncer at a night club before becoming famous and whenever he found a necklace or something he put it on.  It added up to the giant mess of gold that everyone knows.

Nice factoid thanks  :tu:.  I can appreciate him taking off the gold in light of Katrina.  I still like Mr T in a mess of gold  8)

I remember an interview about him not wearing his gold any more, and the story of wanting to show solidarity for those less fortunate. So he put his gold away, refuses to wear it and works with a ton of charities from disaster relief to cancer research. Especially lymphoma research being a survivor himself.
And that now any time you see him with gold it is company gold  provided for him by wardrobe and marketing people that "have" to have him wear gold for that stereotyped image.

I wasn't aware of that part.  Good for him.  I like it when celebrities actually do the things that are important, rather than the multimillionaires that go on TV and beg middle and low income people to donate to something while they live in giant mansions and get paid insane amounts of money for six weeks worth of work.
