My recent Charge TTi conversion
on:
March 23, 2015, 03:07:49 AM
After reading about the conversion with the Rebar head, I decided to give it a try. I re-profiled the head and trimmed the scissor's thumb pad. No Dremel was used, all the work was done by hand. They close like a charm. I was not concerned with any perceived weakening, I think they are as strong as the orginial head. If I need anything stronger I always have my Surge. Here is the end result.

Great work!
The ReCharge seems to be such a natural mod. It perfects the one glaring disappointment in then Charge TTI system. I'd expect to see a stronger head with replaceable cutters on LM's next generation top tier tool.
