I got my first proper multitool for 5 USD too.
There was this guy trying to sell me dome junky saks. He wanted 15 USD for a Classic and 20 USD for a Sportsman... Than I spot a Leatherman SuperTool in the back... "How much for that plier-thingy?"... "Ow I don't know.. is 5 USD ok?" "Well... it's not really worth it, but I needed some pliers, here's the 5 USD and we'll talk later about the saks"  :D

About 8 years ago my mate had a full set of Callaway golf clubs from a car boot sale for £10 off a woman with a cheating husband...apparently she knew how much his stuff was worth, she just wanted to smurf him off by selling it for peanuts. Judging by her Mercedes, they didn't 'need' the money. Wish I could find a vindictive ex wife to sell me some multis.

Divorce is a terrible thing, so I was doing my best to make her feel better about it.

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

This old axiom came to mind when I read BASguy's post.LOL.

Maybe I could place an ad and asked for "only scorned women need respond".  LOL

That is one serious score dude, I'm jealous.  I love the box graphics, what's the production year?

I think I'm more enticed by the packaging than the tool itself!  I've always been very much into packaging design and graphics, the older, the better.  I love seeing variations of how products are marketed over the years.  They've definitely gone much more minimalist now.

I hadn't even given the packaging a second thought before.  Excellent perspective :tu:
