Harley was wrong. (True story)
on: March 30, 2015, 03:32:30 PM
So as it turns out I am not right 100 percent of the time. I know you are saying to yourself how you do not believe it but it is true.

Since joining MTO many months ago I have talked down ab poo ut the need to have tweezers as a permanent fixture on a tool. Saying if I get a splinter I just man up and ignore it. Well let me tell you all a story from yesterday that changed my thinking entirely.

So there I was playing with Harley Babygirl in the back yard. Of course she had no shoes on and gets a splinter in her foot. Baby is crying, Momma can't get it out and she is like, don't you have tweezers on your knife? Out comes my new Fat Ranger to save the day. All is well once again in Harleyland.

Below is a an actual picture of me after saving the day.

You're a cool cat Herley.  :tu:

Sometimes I think my kids get prickles and splinters just so they can borrow my SAKs.

But do they bring them back is the real question.

Now I know what K Tizzle means when he talks about carrying certain tools so his wife can use them.

Yes, they loose their borrowing rights if they don't.  :)

In the Summer, we have so many stickers out here that on the first pass I use the pliers and then deploy the tweezers on the infiltrators and stragglers.

We have a ton of them on this side of Texas too. Annoying little buggers.

Well I don't want to live in a world where Harley is wrong. I won't believe it. Take it back.

Well on the bright side it doesn't happen often.

And?

According to Harley's avatar area, Harley may not be aware of which country he is in.....

They wouldn't be cats if they weren't cats, no matter what they're called ;)

You're a cool cat Herley.  :tu:

Sometimes I think my kids get prickles and splinters just so they can borrow my SAKs.

But do they bring them back is the real question.

Now I know what K Tizzle means when he talks about carrying certain tools so his wife can use them.

I knew you'd see what I was talking about once you got back home ;)  Or you could get the SAK pliers on an Alox custom so you have some powerful tweezers.  Either way.  Nice save on your daughter's foot :tu:

Would have got the pliers on my Syph if my Tool Chest was not riding shotgun on my keys now.
